Bohemia was a western province in the Czech Republic, combined with the majority of Moravia in central Czechoslovakia to form the German Protectorate in March 1939, after the German invasion. After end of war in 1945 the protectorate was dissolved and Bohemia and Moravia once again became part of Czechoslovakia.
