BI-METAL COINS
Bassas da India is an
uninhabited atoll about halfway between Madagascar and Mozambique. It is
a French possession that is also claimed by Madagascar. The island is the
site of numerous shipwrecks and is popular with divers. It recently issued
three 2012 dated coins, each featuring a famous French warship.
