| Wallis and Futuna is a French territory located in the western Pacific Ocean, between Tuvalu, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. It has the status as being a French overseas collectivity, and is not part of French Polynesia. Its population is approximately 15,000. This 2011 dated 100 Francs is the first coin issued for Wallis and Futuna. The 30mm aluminum-bronze coin features the arms of the island on one side and a pair of shells on the other. |
