UNUSUAL SILVER PLATED PROOF COIN

This very interesting legal-tender Fifty Cents crown issued by authority of the Government of Tuvalu. This 40 millimeter diameter silver-plated coin comes with a gold-plated brass insert that can be placed upright on the surface of the coin to depict Neil Armstrong standing on the Moon's surface, holding an American flag on July 20, 1969. Total mintage on this silver-plated proof crown was 2,000 pieces. It comes in a mint issued box with a Certificate of Authenticity.

BEAUTIFUL JEWELED SEA-HORSE SILVER PROOF COIN
A seahorse is featured on this attractive sterling silver 1 Dollar coin from Tuvalu.  Behind the seahorse are three blue crystals, representing bubbles rising to the surface.  Tuvalu, formerly known as the Ellice Islands, is a group of nine islands in the western Pacific with a population of only 12,373. The former British colony pictures Queen Elizabeth on the obverse of the coin.  The 2010 dated coin is 38.6mm in diameter, contains 25 grams of sterling silver and has a mintage of just 2500 pieces.
